Each episode (class) consists of 3 videos:
1. COMPREHEND: The class video asks questions and the answers tell a story. Everything is done to ensure comprehension (e.g. illustrations, gestures, slow speech pace, etc.). All new words are listed, essential new words are subtitled, and a Spanish translation is given. If you do not know Spanish, then pause the video and look up words in your native language.
2. LISTEN & READ: The story IS told at a more native-like pace with visual support. The entire text is at the end to read.
3. CONVERSE: The questions for every line of the story are asked and time is provided for you to answer. The text of all the questions is at the end to read.
The series of videos consists of a:
1) review of the story elements of a classic fairy tale (characters, setting, action, climax, resolution),
2) version that you create,
3) different version of the story,
4) personal interview to use the language acquired to talk about yourself.
